Alice Fabris
Author. Works in IT, writes about wardrobes and how long things last
I work in IT: I design interfaces. The wardrobe is the subject I keep away from the office. “Too Many Clothes, Nothing to Wear” started from a count: how many things I haven’t worn in a year, how many I bought twice, how many are waiting for a repair I’ll never do.
I have a black jacket I bought in Mantua eight years ago, on a rainy day, walking into a shop just to stay dry. I didn’t like it. I kept it because the pockets sit exactly where your hand reaches on its own, and I gave the others away. The book is about choices like that. Facondia Lab built the Chroma Closet app on the same method.
