Why Facondia Lab exists
Facondia Lab is the initiative through which nicastro.in builds Android apps that digitalize small everyday routines.
The starting idea is simple: technology should work for people, not demand their constant attention. Every app starts from a routine activity that eats up time and energy, and tries to reduce it to a few gestures.
What we're after isn't more time on the phone, but less of it: less worrying about repetitive tasks, more room for the things you actually care about.
For the same reason, Facondia Lab supports a few authors: we believe their books offer ideas, even away from the screen, to better organize and manage everyday life and free up more time for it. Some of our apps grow directly out of this collaboration.
