Data deletion
Last updated August 6, 2026
App: Chroma Closet (Android, Google Play Store) Developer: Sara Nicastro — Trieste, Italy Contact: saranicastro.sn@gmail.com
Chroma Closet stores your data only on your device and, if you enabled the backup feature (Premium plan), in the app-data folder of your personal Google Drive. The developer runs no servers and has no access to your wardrobe data. This page explains how to delete your account and all associated data.
1. Delete your account from the app (recommended)
Open the app and go to Profile > Delete account. Deletion is permanent and irreversible and includes:
- automatic deletion of the backup file from your Google Drive (best effort — see note below);
- deletion of all wardrobe data, photos and preferences stored on the device;
- deletion of the sign-in credentials and account identifier stored on the device, and sign-out of your Google account from the app;
- disconnection of the RevenueCat subscription profile from the device.
Note on the Google Drive backup: if automatic deletion fails (e.g. no network at that moment), the backup file remains in your personal Google Drive — always under your exclusive control — and you can delete it at any time as described in section 2.
2. If you already uninstalled the app
You don’t need to reinstall the app to remove the remaining data:
- Local data (wardrobe, photos, preferences) was already deleted by Android when you uninstalled the app.
- Google Drive backup (if you had enabled it): open Google Drive > Settings > Manage apps > Chroma Closet > Delete hidden app data.
- Revoke the app’s access to your Google account: myaccount.google.com > Security > Third-party apps with account access.
- Alternatively, reinstall the app, sign in with the same Google account and use Profile > Delete account.
3. Data held by third-party providers
Some technical data is processed by third-party services (see the Privacy Policy, sections 6 and 9):
- Usage and diagnostics data (Firebase Analytics / Crashlytics): not linked to a profile the developer can look up; automatically deleted after 14 months (analytics) and 90 days (crash logs). You can request earlier deletion by email.
- Subscription records (RevenueCat / Google Play): retained as required by tax and accounting law; you can request deletion, within legal limits, by email.
To exercise any deletion request, write to saranicastro.sn@gmail.com with the subject “Data deletion request — Chroma Closet”. We reply within 30 days.
Other Facondia Lab apps
To request the deletion of your data related to another Facondia Lab application, you can contact Facondia Lab through the channels listed on nicastro.in. The request will be processed within a reasonable time and will result in the permanent removal of the data associated with your account, unless legal obligations require longer retention. For applications that do not require creating an account, uninstalling the app removes the data stored locally on the device.
